About Annie and Ron

Canned Goods as an Expression of a Thankful Heart

About Annie & Ron.

Meet the Chef,

Ann, fondly known as “annie” by those who love her, has stepped into the business of offering the love of food and creative cooking, which she has offered her family table for years. She shares that gift with you and your family. Annie has had a love for food since her youth, but only began her canning creativity in her adult years.  Today Annie proudly offers recipes which date back to her grandmother’s era, over 100 years ago. These “heirloom” recipes are the foundation of her work. Another old-time favorite is tomato jam which Annie has perfected a bit since her childhood when all the cousins knew grandma Lena’s to be a bit thin….one cousin noted, “wasn’t it really thin and ran threw your fingers.” Yes, that was the one!! Today Annie boasts the newest great recipe which has been in development for a larger production volume, her Pineapple Habanero Sauce.

Annie grew up on a farm in Southeastern Wisconsin and feels blessed to have known the hard work and sense of ethics she learned. Ron, her husband of nearly 40 years stands beside her as a vital part of the business….Doing the hard work is usually on Ron’s agenda, the things that a physical disability keep Ann from. Ron’s constant counsel and input are what make the business a success.  Ron grew up in Ironwood Michigan, and with 6 siblings was too, blessed to know hard work. In early 1970’s Ron served our Country in a brave way, fighting for the Country he calls “home.” Ron, at 74, is still employed, which is what helps drive the business and builds her growth. Ron and Ann have 2 grown sons who are also businessmen and have beautiful families of their own.

Ann and Ron were involved in Farmers Markets for years. 4 years ago they began operating their first indoor Market and 2 years ago built her own first brick and mortar store. While this store was only about 500sq feet it laid the foundation for greater things. Today Ron and Ann own the store located at 3212 Washington Avenue in Racine, WI.

What’s to come….Currently, the business is growing and soon will be entering Malicki’s Piggly Wiggly, on Washington Avenue in Racine, WI. Annie and Ron’s business is overseen by State Food Management and recently approved by the FDA. We hope that by Fall the business will be prepared to enter into the shipping market, in time for the Holiday Season.

From her heart, with great sentiment, annie shares this message:

“Growing up on a farm in Southeastern Wisconsin was a wonderful gift. So it is with honor that I embrace the legacy left for me by my grandparents to be an honest steward of the land. It is the desire of my heart that you enjoy these canned goods as an expression of a thankful heart for a “Wonderful Legacy.”

Please join us and put a bit of Annie’s family legacy on your table.
